In December 2021, East China Jiaotong University signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange(CSCSE), formally established a strategic partnership.

    Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange(CSCSE) is an institution directly under the Ministry of Education, which is mainly engaged in services related to study abroad and return to China, study in China and educational international exchange and cooperation. Relying on the high-quality teaching resources of domestic universities and drawing on the advanced international teaching models, the center has established training programs for studying abroad, training bases for studying in Russia and strategic partners. It has established strategic partnerships with 29 institutions such as South China University of Technology, China Agricultural University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Central University of Finance and Economics.

    The establishment of strategic partnership between the ECJTU and CSCSE is a breakthrough in the national internationalization platform of the university, which is of great significance to actively implement the national development strategy and the spirit of the central government's work to expand the opening of education to the outside world in the new era, and to promote the cultivation of talents and modernization of education in the university.
