On September 23th, seminar on the formulation of the 14thfive-year plan of International Cooperation & Exchange Department was successfully held in the conference room on the 8th floor, teaching building NO. 8 in South campus of ECJTU. The seminar was presided over by vice president Chen Mengcheng, and attended by the heads of the departments of international communications, personnel, educational administration, graduate school and vice presidents in charge of foreign affairs and related secretaries of each department.
First of all, president Chen briefly introduced the basic situation of the seminar to the participants.
Secondly, as the head of the International Cooperation & Exchange Department and manager of the Office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, Li Dongwei gave a brief explanation on the work, problems and reasons existing of the International Cooperation & Exchange Department during the 13thfive-year plan period and put forward the vision for the 14thfive-year plan.
Thirdly, according to the reality, the participants had a hot discussion on the shortcomings of the work of International Cooperation & Exchange Department during the period of 13thFive-Year Plan and the formulation of the goals for the 14thfive-year plan.
Finally, President Chen fully affirmed the efforts and achievements of each college / department for International Cooperation & Exchange Department during the period of “13thfive-year” and put forward three requirements for the formulation of the “14thfive-year plan”: first, to improve the political and historical position; second, to combine the goals on the long and short terms together; third, to achieve scientific plan and practicable implementation.
The seminar has greatly promoted the integration of school advantageous resources and the formulation of the goals of the 14thfive-year plan of International Cooperation & Exchange Department.
