On January 31, the Chinese New Year's Eve, international students from all over the world felt the traditional Chinese New Year festive atmosphere and the warmth and happiness of a "Chinese Family" in the school.
In the first canteen of south campus, the university prepared a sumptuous New Year meal for the international students, and Lin Jingping, the director of the organization department of the university, gathered with the international students to have a reunion dinner.
In the international students' apartment, the students put up Chinese couplets and New Year paintings together, and the university sent New Year gifts to the international students and organized them to watch the Spring Festival gala, which added a festive atmosphere to the Spring Festival.
"The school has organized a very rich number of New Year celebrations for us, which gave us a strong Chinese 'New Year flavor' and deepened our understanding of Chinese culture. I am very happy." Said Evra, from the Gambia.
This year, there are nearly 50 international students staying on campus for Chinese New Year. In order to enrich the holiday life of international students, the university also organized a series of activities with the theme of "Celebrating Chinese New Year and Collecting Seven Fortunes" to encourage them to welcome 2022 with a new outlook.
