On March 3, Zhao Hui and Huang Jiawen, director and deputy director of the Office of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province respectively visited the international student in the university to express their sympathy and investigate the epidemic prevention and control. President Luo Yufeng and vice president Chen Mengcheng came together.
Zhao Hui fully affirmed the epidemic prevention and control of our university, and gave protective masks to the international students on behalf ofthe Office of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province. She cordially sympathized with the international students and had a detailed understanding of the epidemic prevention and control measures of the International School as well as the study and living conditions of the international students during the period of epidemic prevention and control.
Luo introduced the school’s recent work in epidemic prevention and control, and said that we will make persistent efforts to continue to do a good job in the epidemic prevention and control of foreign students, so as to keep well in the epidemic prevention and control. The leaders of the International School reported the supporting and specific safeguard measures provided by the school for international students during the closed period, for example, inviting merchants to sell vegetables at the school gate three times a week, collecting the purchase demand of international students every week, arranging the counselors of foreign students to buy materials, taking strict epidemic prevention and control measures to ensure the safety and health of students’ living environment, etc.
ABIR, an international student from Bangladesh, showed Zhao Hui two paintings he created during the epidemic period, and gave them to Zhao Hui and her party. “Thank you very much for the kind care of the leaders. The Chinese government and schools have done a great job in epidemic prevention and control. The previous worries were unnecessary. Now we feel safe and comfortable here!” ABIR said excitedly.
